Virtues Of Salwaat

يرصد فضائل Salwaat لتسليط الضوء على أهمية Salwaat في حياتنا.

Among the numerous bounties that Allah has bestowed on us, there is an invaluable bounty about which we are aware but are oblivious of its importance. And Allah has Himself reminded us about this great bounty in Surah Ahzaab, verse 56 :

إِنَّ اللّٰهَ وَمَلَٰٓئِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّ ۚ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ

ءَامَنُوا۟ صَلُّوا۟ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا۟ تَسْلِيمًا

Surely Allah and His angels bless the Prophet; O you who believe call for (Divine) blessings on him and salute him with a (becoming) salutation.

The above verse explicitly makes it clear that in recitation of salwaat not only the angels but Allah Himself send blessings on the Prophet(s.a.w.a.). Now there remains no doubt about the importance and the position of reciting salwaat.Thus, We should recite salwaat to such an extent that it mixes with our flesh and blood.

Content of this App is taken from the book "VIRTUES OF SALWAAT". The reason of bringing this book into an app is not only to remind ourselves about the importance of reciting salwaat but to commence reciting salwaat on Mohammad (s.a.w.a.) and his holy progeny. Also to make people aware of different salwaat taught by Aimma (a.s) and to make it handy so that we can recite it wherever we are.

Let us pay attention to a tradition of Imam Baqir (a.s) in which He(a.s) has said, "There should not be delay in commencing good deeds, as one of the work of Shaitan is to delay the believer from doing good work thereby reducing his fervor and keeping him away from the work."

We pray to Allah to give us the taufeeq (bounty) to recite salwaat as much as possible and continue this action till our last breath.
