Vishwa Tuluvere Parbha

An all India Federation of "Tulu kootas" was organized and established in the year 1989 at Mangalore under the able leadership of Late S.R. Hegde . As on now there are 30 Tulu kootas from different parts of the country have joined and obtained affiliated membership of the federation. The gradual progress of the "Tuluva" movement by the Tulukootas have encouraged to organise "Vishwa Tuluvere Parbha-2014" to commemorate "Silver Jubilee" of our Tulu Okkoota at Mangalore on 12 to 14th December 2014.

The Okkoota has completed 25 Years since its inception. To commemorate this great event it was decided to hold 3 days seminar as "VISHWA TULUVERE PARBHA 2014".It would be a cultural and literary conference to be held at the Sahyadri Engineering college at Adyar,Mangalore. The Hon.President of Parbha MR. D. VEERENDRA HEGGADE has accepted our invitation to preside over 3 days function. The Vishwa Tuluvere parbha's President Mr.B.Ramanath Rai, Minister for Forest & Environment Govt. of Karnataka and District Incharge minister and all the ministers, Mp's and MLA/MLC's of D.K and Udupi districts would participate in the 3 days "parbha".
