Quick and Simple NFC Communication

The wenglor sensor configurator conveniently transfers setup information from your Android smartphone or Android tablet PC to all wenglor sensors equipped with the near field communication standard (NFC) by simply pressing a key. Numerous settings can be entered to the app via the intuitive user interface prior to transmission, and can then be transferred to the sensors. It can also be used to read out existing configurations from the sensors.

The graphical user interface lists all relevant setting options at a glance and ensures intuitive operation by means of scroll balls and direct entry.

Continuous Mode for Series Applications

The sensor configurator also provides a continuous mode in the event that the same configuration needs to be transferred to, or settings need to be read out from, several sensors. Data are written or read continuously as soon as the sensor with NFC interface is located approximately one centimeter from the configurator.

Storage and Compatibility

Created projects can be saved to memory, opened and transferred to other sensors. Furthermore, the app uses the same file format (.wts) as wenglor’s well established wTeach2 Windows software. This means that projects created with the app can also be viewed and edited in wTeach2 without any restrictions. Conversely, wTeach2 projects can also be transferred to a smartphone for further use.
