ARU Photos

Brokers and loss control inspectors: have you ever spent time in the field taking dozens of photographs of similar buildings, then returned to your office and not been able to remember which picture was of which building? And then have you ever spent hours going through these pictures labeling and numbering them so that you (and the underwriter) would have good records of what was what?

We have!

ARU Photos was developed specifically to overcome the challenges associated with photographs of poultry houses, which all look very similar. At the end of a long day in the field, it often took us hours to reconstruct exactly which picture was of what building and then properly label and organize the photos.

ARU Photos is the answer to this conundrum. With this app, brokers and loss control inspectors will be able to easily label photos at the time pictures are being taken, so there is never any confusion about a particular picture's subject matter. Simply touch the easy on-screen interface to rotate through menus that allow labeling photos based on building type, building number, and question number (for loss control inspectors).

The custom label chosen by the user is both stamped onto the photo itself and saved as the picture's file name. This means loss control inspectors can upload photos directly to ARU after the inspection is complete, without the need to re-label.
