Aruba ERTCapture

Overview:

The main scope of this app is to support Aruba Meridian products. Sometimes, Meridian Android users are having issues with Location service, proximity services. To work on those issues, we always look for user experience. This app helps the customers to share their experience with us. Meridian won't support all android devices, it only support limited devices. To make sure of device type & editor we added a send button with two text fields.

Role & Responsibilities:

Screen capture: It will capture mobile screen. By that video file we can easily figure out Android issues.

Record Audio: At the time of screen capture,User must have to explain the current situation of environment & their experiences. device location & issue.

Device Information: Meridian supports limited Android device. So, we've to know the user device info that something user can easily share with us by just Tap SEND button.

Location ID & Map ID: Is something user has to enter manually & click SEND to send all device information with Meridian Location & Map IDs .



Process:

1. After downloaded the application, click on the ICON to open the app.

2. To start capturing both audio & screen video, ‘Tap’ OFF Toggle button – For the first time, app ask for your permissions to access photos, media and files on your devices. Please allow.

3. Every time when user TAP OFF it will pop-up START NOW alert just to make sure of the recording is starting. Please TAP STRAT NOW to start recording screen & Audio.

4. After recorded everything whatever you want to record. Please go back to the app (running

on back ground) & Tap ON Toggle button to stop recording. Don't forget to stop recording.

5. Recorded file will always stores in to the Device storage – Downloads with name

“_re13digitnumber.mp4”.

6. Fill the location ID & Map ID, to share with us by just clicking SEND button. With device information we can see the manually entry too.
