ASKLEPIUS is an endeavour by a group of high school students from India

which provides a platform for doctors to collaborate and get inputs from

other members of the medical community around patients. Using the app, doctors can publish the details of the

treatment plans that they used to treat their patients and share it with other

doctors keeping patient identity anonymous. Doctors can search for case

profiles of other patients similar to their own using a multiple-query based

search feature in order to see what treatments were successful for patients

similar to their own, taking into account their age group, sex, symptoms, and

comorbidities.

Gandhi Ji once said, “Be the change you wish to see in the world”. With

millions around the world suffering from the effects of the pandemic, our

aim is to do the best we can to facilitate the treatment

patients around the world by providing doctors with a reliable database of

treatments that could potentially be used to treat those infected, given how

there is no announced cure yet and doctors around the world are confused

about how to go about treating their patient. We sincerely hope that using

this app, doctors will be able to get a better idea on which treatments could

be successful based on information provided by other members of the

medical community.
