Assembly of God Ministry of Pirapora aims to socialize citizens, motivating them to have an experience compatible with human and spiritual harmony, in the meantime applying evangelical preaching methods; educational religious seminars; devotional campaigns and other activities integrated with the Kingdom of God. The purpose of the Assembly of God Church is to discover God's calling on a man's life, discern it and realize it, seeking to identify each other, encouraging each one, in order to bring a feeling of improvement to each person.

The Assembly of God Ministry Pirapora, founded in 1945, is an evangelical Pentecostal church that strives for doctrinal orthodoxy. With the Bible as its only rule of faith and practice, it is committed to evangelization. The doctrine concerns baptism in the Holy Spirit. We believe that the baptism in the Holy Spirit grants believers several benefits as recorded in the New Testament. These include power to witness and serve others; a dedication to the work of God; a more intense love for Christ, his Word, and the lost; and the receipt of spiritual gifts (Acts 1.4,8; 8.15-17).

As a community of faith, service and worship, the Assembly of God Ministério Pirapora cannot shirk its obligations – proclaiming the Gospel of Christ and promoting spiritually, morally and socially the people of God. Only in this way will we be definitively establishing ourselves as an agency of the Kingdom of God.

The Assembly of God Ministry Pirapora is committed to leading children, teenagers, young people and adults to Christ. Our prayer is that we will be used by God to help the lost and provide an environment where the Holy Spirit can perform his special work in the lives of believers.

Assembly of God Ministry Pirapora is affiliated with the State Convention (COMADEMG) and the General Convention of the Assemblies of God in Brazil (CGADB).
