Attorney Athena

Attorney Athena is a software to allow attorneys from different jurisdictions/territories to provide legal services online, as well as a Platform to pay for knowledge and to share benefits. The functions of first version of Attorney Athene mainly includes:

1. Ask Public: the user can ask questions publicly. All attorneys successfully registered in the Platform can receive the questions and make their replies. The attorney fee will be distributed based on the user’ s like/dislike.

2. Ask Particular: the user can appoint more than one attorney to answer questions, and only appointed attorneys can receive the questions and make their replies. The attorney fee will be distributed based on the user’ s like/dislike.

3. Ask Private: the user can ask questions to an attorney, and only this attorney can receive the questions and make his or her replies.

4. Pay for View: After an asker published a question and its corresponding replies, other users can pay for viewing the full content. The viewing fee will be distributed between the asker and the attorney(s) who replied. We expect this can in line with the purpose that “the replied attorneys may obtain on-going legal fee from one-time reply” and the users can view the common questions with very low cost, and finally, for achieving the goal of knowledge-sharing.

5. Video Appointment: the attorney can provide video service in the Platform for saving his client’s time and making his legal service more efficient. The platform sets up a default mechanism, and enables the non-breaching party to get liquidated damages.
