Anyone that works with kids with autism or other special needs knows it challenging it can become whenever they go into a tantrum. For behavioral therapists, technicians, and parents; keeping track of certain behavioral patterns during a tantrum is critical.

This app allows the user to keep better track of behavior patterns, such as elopements or self-harming. When a child engages in a tantrum, press the “Start” option and a timer will begin. You will have a series of options such as Elopement, Self-Harm, Property destruction, or Other of your choosing. Each option will have a “Plus” option that you can press each time the child exhibits that particular behavioral pattern. When over, press “Stop” and the time will end showing the number of each behavioral pattern.

The purpose of this app is to help make keeping track of behavioral patterns easier. A file can be made for multiple kids and data of each tantrum is kept.

Keeping accurate data on behavioral patterns during tantrums is critical because it helps the behavioral therapists draw their behavioral plans.
