AUX DUTY

AUX DUTY is an application that allows you and your friends to decide which songs are played through voting. No one person gets to dictate the playlist; instead it is a group decision. This system is applicable to multiple situations. The most common situation the creator foresaw for deciding who is on "aux duty"; meaning who decides what music is played through the aux cord.

App Help:

HOST: The host is the person who has the music library that everyone will vote on. The music will also be coming from the host's phone.

1) The host starts a session by choosing a session key. This will be the password that grants access to your session

2) Friends join the session by pressing, you guess it, join session. Then they must enter the key

3) voting begins. The voting has 3 priorities, from highest to lowest you have: flame, star and check mark.

4) Everyone submits their choices, once everyone has submitted the host selects end voting. The songs with the highest priorities will be added to the playlist.

5) The friends are brought back to the main page and the host is brought to the created playlist.

SETTINGS

1) playlist size: The maximum amount of songs will be in the created playlist.

2) default key: If left blank then a key will be asked to be entered every time a session is started. You may enter a default key to be used every time you select start session.

This is my first ever project. This app is rough around the edges; however this project was for fun and I hope the idea is useful to many.
