Awesome Elements

Awesome Elements is a learning tool targeted at high-school students from grades 8 - 9. The purpose of the app is to introduce the students to the elements on the periodic table and their chemical symbols, in a manner that is fun.

Awesome Elements is set out in the form of a quiz game making the learning experience entertaining and less of a struggle. When a student finishes a quiz they can choose to save their scores and upload them to social media giving them a sense of accomplishment and causing competition monogamist classmates.

Awesome Elements contains an easy mode and a hard mode. The easy mode is for when the students are starting out as the time limit on the quiz is much greater and penalties for incorrect answers are less severe.

The hard mode is available to rigorously test students of their knowledge once they have become very familiar with the elements.

Awesome Elements also includes the usage of the devices motion sensor to make the game more interactive and fun to play.
