Bathroom Wars

Mark your claim and expand your territory as you travel around and visit new restroom locations. The app has three main modes:

Show Locations - As you move the map around, markers will be placed at restroom locations found in the public database. Tap a marker and record a visit at a pre-existing location, or create a new restroom location, with the option to make it visible to the public. (NOTE: all restroom locations in the public database are user-generated.)

Show Personal History - Markers will be placed on the map at every restroom you've visited (and recorded) using Bathroom Wars. "Take a step back," zoom out, and appreciate how far you've come along so far. But never settle! Keep on conquering!

Battle - A list will show your Facebook friends who are also using the Bathroom War app. Choose a friend, to "battle" and compare to see who's conquered territory. Toast messages will appear specifying exactly how many unique restrooms have been conquered by you and your friend. On the map, you'll also have the option to toggle the visibility of your territory markers and your friend's. Invite your friends to use the app, and spark some fun, good-spirited competition!

I've only had access to test on physical devices with Android 6.0, so please let me know if you encounter difficulties with another Android version!

Information is stored using Google's Firebase console.

For full functionality, the Bathroom Wars app will need permission to your device's GPS location. The only GPS locations that are stored are conquered (recorded) restroom locations. Do not worry or fear about recording restroom locations such as at your own home, as long as you do NOT mark the "public" option.

User login is handled through Facebook. The email address associated with the Facebook account will be accessed for the purpose of authenticating and verifying app Users. Your friends list will also be accessed, but only the friends who are also using the Bathroom Wars app. Your profile picture will also be accessed, but it will only be accessible to your Facebook friends using the app (profile picture appears next to name in the "Battle" dialog).

I will NEVER sell and/or distribute your stored personal information to a third-party service. Being a free app, there is a small advertisement banner on the bottom of the screen. But I will never personally distribute any of your personal information, such as your Facebook email and profile picture, whether voluntarily or for profit.
