Bengal Information

This medium to large sized breed, compared to other cats, is characterized by its fur resembling that of the Bengal Leopard Cat, a species of wild cat from which it is bred, by crossing with domestic cats. The Bengal inherited the physical characteristics of the Asian leopard cat from which he partly descended, but is nonetheless an easy-going, gentle and sociable cat. Medium to large in height, he is characterized by an athletic, powerful, agile and graceful physical constitution. Devoid of aggressiveness and very curious, the Bengal is also very intelligent. In short, he is a skilled cat, able to adapt to a variety of living environments, easy to maintain and get along with all members of the family.
