BhavMUN'15

We, the students of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, feel that grumbling about things sitting in the comfort of our homes is the greatest sin we could ever commit. What right do we hold to criticize others while doing nothing about it ourselves? Yes, the most immediate excuse would be that they are in powerful positions, whereas we aren’t. But does that really justify our criticism?

At BhavMUN 2015, we aim to discuss international problems which have been, are, or may be faced by the world. Furthermore, we also are motivated to come up with solutions– genuine solutions– to these problems. In the MUN, we do not target at just marking delegates and giving away prizes. For us, and probably for most of the rest, the experience of MUNning is a reward in itself.

BhavMUN 2015 brings to you an opportunity to showcase your hidden talents, which otherwise might have gone unnoticed. As experienced MUNners, we can vouch for the fact that often, people who don’t participate in debates or other allied extra-curricular activities excel in a MUN. BhavMUN’15 promises to be not only a forum to present your oratory skills, but also your thinking, analyzing, and problem-solving capacity. Since we’ve been through the process before, we aim at giving all delegates a fair chance to participate in committee, since it has often been seen that a few delegates tend to overshadow the rest. However, it depends upon you and you only to ensure that you make the best of every chance that you get.
