Augmented Reality sculpture to blend into actual sculpture by artist Caddelle. In the present digital era - technology brings a new contemplative and observable perspective to the advance of computing in many areas of traditional art. The shift between physical space and virtual space is evolving in rapid successions of discovery and innovation.

Caddelle is a Multi-disciplinary and extended reality artist who explores this consequential divide with an innate link to the mediums of the ‘traditional’ arts and the multi-faceted digital experience; for him, the immersive is not a solitary experience but rather one of sharing the discovery that contemporary art making can deliver. In the continued momentum of investigating and developing his art, he is merging collective links between ‘real space’ and virtual reality environments exploring the multiple possibilities incorporating holographic and optical projections to create a mixed reality digital art experience.

With this in mind he invites the viewer to interact and participate in both the tactile and digital evolution of art. The inaugural series of Caddelle’s current ‘Electric Ladies’ mixed-media, Op-Art inspired artworks and sculptures, is a vibrant and energetic reconciliation of pigment and multi-sensory engagement with Augmented Reality.
