If you were to weigh yourself the following day you may actually have lost weight and due to water or sodium your body is holding more water and you would therefore appear heavier on the scale, this causes many to get fed up and give up. Weighing yourself everyday allows you to see how your weight fluctuates and charts show you how the weight fluctuates but can still be in a downward trend.
