Organize screenshots and downloads with tags. Search text inside your images.
Saved it for later, but can't find it now?
CaptureCut brings screenshots and downloaded images together so you can organize what you keep and find it again with a word you remember.
Give every saved idea a place
- Create tags for travel, recipes, shopping, work, or any way you like to organize.
- Add multiple tags to an image. Choose a tag color, change it later, or use no color.
- Create a new tag while selecting images, without leaving your task.
- Find images that still need a tag in Unsorted.
Search beyond filenames
- Search tags, filenames, and text recognized inside your images.
- On-device OCR supports Korean and Latin-script text.
- Recognition and indexing can take time. Results depend on text size and image clarity.
Tidy up several images at once
- Switch between Select all and Deselect all for tagging, sharing, protection, and deletion.
- In All, a successful tag application clears the selection and returns you to browsing.
- Mark images as protected to skip them when using Select all in Unsorted.
- Protection is an organizing safeguard, not encryption or a lock. You can still manually select and delete protected images.
Take a closer look and share
- Pinch or use buttons to zoom, then swipe to browse within the collection you opened.
- Rename image files and share one or several images with compatible chat and social apps.
- You choose where to share and whether to send. Available apps depend on what is installed and the image formats they accept.
Make it feel right for you
- Follow your phone's language or choose Korean or English in the app. Phones using other languages default to English.
- Use the system theme, light mode, or dark mode.
- Add folders inside Pictures to include their images and subfolders in Downloads.
- Browse newest or oldest first and adjust thumbnail sizes.
A few things to know
CaptureCut focuses on screenshots, the default download folders, and the Pictures subfolders you add. It is not a gallery for your entire camera roll. Visible images depend on photo access permissions and Android's media library.
Tagging does not copy images or move the originals into different folders. On Android 11 and later, deletion uses the system trash confirmation. Deletion behavior may differ on older Android versions.
Images and recognized text are not sent to an external server for OCR. The app does contain AdMob ads, which use a network connection for ad requests and may involve data processing by the advertising SDK. See the privacy policy for details.
