The story so far – the owners own words.

If you know where we’ve come from, you’ll have a good idea where we’re heading.

Prior to starting mr green casino I worked as a mortgage broker for a local company. I dealt with estate agents a lot. The frustration began to grow after experiencing how many of my clients were ‘looked after’ by their estate agent. Was the service they received ever good value for money? 9/10 times I’d say it wasn’t.

In 2009 MrGreen casino was formed. The basic principles were for transparency, complete honesty and a service that favoured our customers, not ourselves.

Fairness. The first thing I decided to change was the contracts that agents put people in. 8/12/24 week sole agency contracts were a definite no-no. The only reason you’d tie someone in was if you felt you weren’t going to do a good job. This is the reason we have no tie-in with a contract. Just a simple two week notice period. A few agents have now followed our lead on this.

Marketing. I was truly shocked by how negative an impression an estate agent could give of a house by taking poor pictures. An agent is instructed to sell a property, not make it look like it’s worth 25% less than it is. We do our best to make every house we take on our books look as good as it possibly can. An agent should enhance your sale, not hinder it.
