Chanawala A Sports Club

Chanawala .A. Sports academy was established in 1970. Founder of chanawala a. Sports academy is indian test cricketer SALIM DURRANI & AHRAR AHMED CHANAWALA.

The aim behind establishing, is to develop cricket because there was no cricket in 1970s & they wanted each City, State, Etc. of India should have coaching centres to find out future talent for India.

SALIM DURRANI started his carrier from school level later got selected for Gujrat Ranji Trophy Team. After his good performance in Ranji trophy he was called up for National team & he played 29 tests for India (1960-1973). He used to hit a six on public demand, when public use to say, we want six & therefore he was called sixer DURRANI.

CHANAWALA A. SPORTS ACADEMY provides coaching, tournaments for the age group of U-14, U-16, U-19, U-23 & open. There are corporate matches & practice matches too.
