Gandaki Krishi

Background:

After the establishment of the provincial government and separate Ministry of Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperative under the provincial government, the government of Gandaki Province wants to improve its services reaching to the public for the smooth governance and easy management of the agricultural related services. For this, Gandaki Krishi mobile application was envisioned. This app primarily functions to disseminate the whole agricultural information of the province in the hands of the public and also collects the feedbacks for the smooth running of the services.

Insights

Referring to the state’s security, nutrition security and inequal reach of the public to the government, contribution to equality in information and services is expected that boost the trust in government and leads to poverty reduction and alleviated national economy.

Goals

To disseminate every information about agriculture, land management and cooperatives to the public, ensuring the public’s right to get information and eventually, to achieve the self-sustainability in the agriculture and livestock production by operating through the cooperative model throughout the provincial level.
