Queensland Housing Inspection Checklist (QhIC)

The Queensland Housing Inspection Checklist (QhIC) app has been developed exclusively for use by Queensland community housing providers when conducting regular property inspections. It is essential department-owned properties are kept in good repair and condition for the safety of tenants. This app gives providers an easy way to record property information, including whether property features:

• record details of the property being inspected, date of inspection, inspector’s name

and type of inspection

• ability to select yes, no or n/a on whether property features being inspected are

compliant

• add comments to provide extra detail

• can be used without connecting to the internet

• save and submit later when internet service is available

• completed inspection is sent in MS Excel format to account holder’s nominated email

address.
