Backstory:

You grew up a small astray neko abandoned with no family, neither food nor shelter for some days. With the sole intent to survive, you learn to defend yourself from harm and nature through the years on the streets of Tokyo. How will a small kitten survive in such a harsh environment where hard hitting cats lurk the back allies every night playing HIT THE YARN! You as a young neko, you train day and night to become stronger. Your whole body built to withstand any obstacle that comes your way. But yet in your small feline heart, you yearn the place of a good home and family.

This all changed when one day while pumping some iron on a hot summer’s day on a roof top terrace, a young boy looks at you from afar while you curl them arms. Mid pump, he smiled while seemingly lower his body to hold his hand out to give you a half-eaten fish. You came around sniffing to think you were already low on protein mix and creatine. Snatched the fish out of the boys hand LIKE A BOSS and ate it in one gulp. BURRRRRP! You smiled and purred at the boy as a sign of gratitude for the kind gesture. You were walking away heading back to pump some more iron when the boy called out to you and asked if you wanted to follow him home. You had a moment to yourself and looked back at your workout station where you hung you dried fish bones and leftover treats on the terrace overlooking the ally that you always thought was going to called your HOME. Without hesitating, you smiled at the boy and followed him home. It was a dream come true.

Years passed by living in a 1 bedroom apartment with your new master, feeling loved and at home. But still you felt that something was a little off because your master was now a working man and you only saw him in the evenings. You became sad and lonely. Soon you master took notice of your behavior and reacted by bringing in YUMI, a tiny neko to keep you company! You then started to become happy again, becoming more invigorated and energetic, filled with joy and love for your new friend.

One day, Yumi disappeared! OH NO! You and your master looked high and low for her for days with no sign of her anywhere.

One night with looking for her with your super cat night vision, on the high terraces of Tokyo, in hope of finding her stuck in a drain somewhere. You stumbled upon your old home. You looked over onto the ally way, and there she was!!! You’ve found YUMI! But she was not alone. She was captured by the Back Ally Neko Yakuza!

It’s your job now to save her! Use your skills to defeat the Back Ally Neko Yakuza and save YUMI! Crush your enemies by playing the HIT THE YARN game and get passed them all!
