Contextual ear training Lite

The most effective way of developing his musical ear, with regard to tonal and modal music, is in the context of a scale. Because the relative ear recognizes rather the scale degrees than the absolute notes. This app allows you to move forward quickly, training you with contextual exercises.

Five levels are available: each level introduces a larger melodic interval (from the second for level 1 to sixth for level 5).

A short phrase of five notes is generated and you must recognize which note of the scale it is each time. The first note of the sentence is one of the notes of the root chord. The tonal context is given by the root chord, which is played just before the melodic phrase. This chord helps you identify the first note of the phrase.
