O Cozinheiro Feiticeiro is an educational game created to help professionals in the field of Education and Psychology who use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) teaching procedures and strategies to teach symbolic behavior in children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental delays. The game is focused on the development of recombinative reading, which is the discrimination and recombination of syllabic units of words. The game consists of several two-syllable and three-syllable word arrangement learning tasks, and players receive positive reinforcement whenever they get it right. There are no negative interactions, but the educator can infer when necessary to encourage the child's learning.

The game uses the CRMTS (Constructed Response Matching to Sample) procedure, which makes it possible to understand the way in which the teaching of relations between stimuli and expansion is organized for teaching procedures for reading and writing in ASD. The game is aligned with the design and application of the IFMA Area of ​​Interest, addressing issues related to well-being, collective health, family health and support for the work of health professionals and institutions.

Cozinheiro Feiticeiro is a project that includes the Priority Area of ​​Technologies for Quality of Life, in the sectors of Health and Assistive Technologies, established by ORDINANCE No. 1,122, OF MARCH 19, 2020, of the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovations and Communications ( MCTIC). This educational game aims to contribute to the development of recombinative reading in children with ASD and other neurodevelopmental delays, helping to teach and promote the well-being and quality of life of these children.
