CyanoAlert

Welcome to the CyanoAlert ® Service Mobile Device Application (app).

This mobile app was created for the purpose of providing satellite measured water quality data to users in a convenient way without the need for scientific expertise in satellite data interpretation and hardware requirements associated with the use of satellite data.

The app provides intuitive ability through a graphical user interface to scan water bodies for changes in water quality, including potential cyanobacterial blooms, and allows for passive reception of data instead of active acquisition of data files.

The CyanoAlert ® app was developed through a collaboration between the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the EC H2020 CyanoAlert project (Grant Agreement No: 730141) and it builds on the U.S. EPA’s Cyanobacteria Assessment Network (CyAN) Android Application.
