How Hydroponics Works

In traditional hydroponics, plants are grown in greenhouses. The plants are placed directly on the ground or on tables covered with trivets. The irrigation system provides the essentials (water and food) for each plant.

- To calculate the approximate value

A rough estimate of electricity costs and don't be surprised by your electricity bill. The current used for each circuit. Use the correct circuit breaker to avoid overloads and fire hazards.

-Measurements

Tank volume. Make sure you have enough water to feed hungry plants. The number of CFMs required. Do not underestimate the energy required to completely change the air to fresh or filtered air.

-Quality

amount of carbon dioxide needed. Is the CO2 generator powerful enough to fill a grow room? The amount of propane that will be used. Make sure you have a big enough tank.
