Dandi March

91 years ago, 61 years old Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi had walked 388 km in 25 days (including rest on 3 days) to break the oppressive Salt Law by the British. Inspired by this, along with Dr. Tushar Gandhi, great grandson of Mahatma Gandhi we have started this initiative to get people across the world to start walking or running. This is even more so during these pandemic times, when COVID has taken a lot more of psychological toll on everybody. Through physical activity we want all to be more upbeat about life. As it is lifestyle diseases are the major killers today and we all can do with more physical activities and exercises.

There are 5 categories which gets people participating. They’ll walk / run at a location of their choice from 12th March to 5th April.

1. Commit To Your Self: here people commit to walking / running for 25 days

2. Commit for your loved ones: you might be active yourself but commit to get your loved one to be more active

3. Commit to matching Bapu: try following the schedule that Mahatma Gandhi followed everyday

4. Commit to People: get your students & employees to walk / run for the 25 days

5. Commit to 2022: you might not be ready to match Bapu this year but you will spend next one year
