Mathematics. The very word conjures a variety of reactions from many. The majority loathe the subject and would prefer not to have anything to do with it. Some wouldn’t mind a few concepts and applications of it. A lesser few would study it further, to improve job prospects and a minimal number would pursue the subject to higher levels as a matter of interest and a career.

The underlying reason for a majority to hate the subject, is the lack of sound understanding of the various concepts in the subject, and the poor knowledge of application of the subject matter, at least in daily life, if not in career jobs.

It is for this reason, this APP to teach mathematics, through a digital mode, so that it is convenient, affordable, and easily understood by all, is prepared.

Although the difficulty level increases as one progresses to higher grades of schooling or learning and the majority of the help in understanding was needed at that point, it makes a lot of sense, to get the fundamental concepts right. In today’s world, some fundamentals are mentioned at the 5th grade level. However, more in-depth study begins at the 6th grade, and progresses to higher levels in senior grades.

The lessons are prepared assuming the listeners previous knowledge on the subject is nil. Every concept is explained in detail, with a few examples to illustrate the concept.

The lessons will progress to all concepts needed up to 12th grade or senior high school.

The first stage is to present all the fundamentals of every topic up to 12th grade, for the curriculum and examination of any board in India or internationally.

The next stage will be to add advanced sums of higher order thinking. The last stage will be to prepare students for competitive exams. This is a work in progress and will take a while to complete.

The teacher and author of this online APP is a much-wanted person for his skills in teaching mathematics, to any student, irrespective of their prior knowledge and grasp of the subject, including helping students who are differently abled, mentally and physically.
