Darkiemall is an online marketplace where black-owned businesses and solo entrepreneurs in South Africa showcase and sell their products to the global community.

We are driven by a community of irreverent entrepreneurs who use Darkiemall to promote and sell their products, thousands of shoppers who believe in supporting black entrepreneurs to curb poverty, reduce inequality and grow the economy in South Africa, and the resolute Darkies (Staff) of Darkiemall.

We started in November 2015 as Chekmarket - a Marketplace for African handmade crafts. In 2018, Chekmarket evolved into Darkiemall, a Marketplace that seeks to

- meet the demand for products by black-owned businesses across different industries.
