DigiSOS

Send SMS and email along with location details to three pre-designated contacts in case of emergency by activating DigiSOS. The user can also contact emergency services like police, fire and ambulance. Emergency contact details are to be provided by user.

SOS is well recognized as International Distress Signal initially used in ships. It is used as a start-of-message mark for transmissions requesting help when loss of life or catastrophic loss of property is imminent.

DigiSOS, a safety app for the android users, has been conceptualized as a social impact app for digital age generation. DigiSOS requires active cell phone as well as data connectivity. When SOS from DigiSOS is activated, text message (SMS) and email are sent to the pre-defined emergency contacts. Location coordinates is sent also sent. User can also activate high volume alarm siren to attract attention from immediate surrounding. SOS can also be activated in silent mode if so desired. Options are provided to contact emergency services like ambulance, police and fire station.
