DiseaseFindr

DiseaseFindr allows users to submit health incident/disease reports for community health workers [CHW] (i.e. Barangay Health Workers). It provides color coded geotag on a map to visualize the extent of coverage of the incidents. The tags are categorized in two ways, (a) validated reports from the community health worker and (b) the crowdsourced reports. The validated reports are CHW-verified incidents while the crowdsourced reports are incidents reported by ordinary users.

DiseaseFindr is a m-government initiative initially deployed in a community in Davao City, Philippines. It started as a capstone project and was scaled up and deployed in a real setting. It is supported by the Australian Embassy Philippines through the Alumni Grant Scheme.
