Take your old smartphone out of the drawer and use it as a home security device.

With DoorTalk your old smartphone will become an alarm device that will warn you every time your door is open. Download the app, set your phone up on your door (duct tape can do the job) and Arm your alarm: DoorTalks will detect any movement and alert you.

Tweet me! How about creating a Twitter account to your door so that it can alert you via Direct Message? Login to your doorís twitter account through Door Talks and you will be alerted with a notification on your phone and you will always know when your door opens.

No SIM card needed: DoorTalks just needs to be connected to your home wi-fi.
