Driver Card Reader Pro

This app is designed for professional truck drivers. With this application, you can retrieve data from digital driver cards that conform to tachograph standards established by the European Union. You can share data in different ways or store it on your device in different standard formats (ddd, esm, tgd, c1b). The read time will be written back to the card and the application reminds you of the 28-day read obligations.

No monthly / yearly subscription fee, no registration! You only have to pay once when you first install the application – but please note that the development of this Pro version has ended (see below).

The application analyzes the data on the driver card and identifies potential infringements in driving and rest periods. You can get a detailed list of driver activities. We will prepare your working time accounting for you in weekly/monthly/shift breakdown. This way, you can even check the working time accounting you received from your employer. We can help you plan your working/rest time.

The application also has a trial version. You can try the trial version first and if you like it you can buy this Pro version.

Important: the development of this Pro version has ended. For many years every improvement and legislation update was delivered free of charge, but the one-time fee paid by new users can no longer sustain this. Pro remains fully usable and will stay available for those who prefer it, but from now on it only receives bug fixes: changes in legislation and new features are implemented only in its successor, Pro+. It may also happen that after changing phones you can no longer install Pro on a device running a newer Android version.

Pro+ is a standalone application available through an annual subscription, with a free 15-day trial. Its most significant new features are support for communication with Bluetooth-enabled tachographs and an updated design, along with many further improvements. You can find it here:

You need a USB card reader (ACS, Omnikey, Rocketek, Gemalto, Voastek, Zoweetek, uTrust, ...) to use the application. On some phones (Oppo, OnePlus, Realme, Vivo) you need to set it up for the OTG function to work continuously.
