Easy DIY Pajamas For Kids

Heres an easy DIY your kids will love. And I mean love in the youre the coolest mom in the world kind of way the kind of outpouring thats usually reserved for acquiescing to or allowing popcorn for dinner. Heres what you do: buy black PJs and draw on them with glow-in-the-dark fabric paint. Done!

Supplies needed:

Black pants and shirt. We got these inexpensive pieces for a boy and a girl at Wal-Mart

Glow in the dark fabric paint

Halloween stencil. I used a couple of these bat shapes

Trace or free hand a simple Halloween shape onto the shirt and pants with the fabric paint. You dont even need a paintbrush! Caroline got a spiderweb motif and Henry got various sizes of bats. Let the paint dry and youre done

You can let the kids play outside a bit before bedtime to charge the paint. The more sunlight it gets, the brighter it glows.

Getting a good picture of these actually glowing is nigh impossible with squirmy kids but you get the idea! Id recommend turning the PJs inside out when washing, but of course I havent bothered to do this. Luckily, the paint has held up really well.
