This app helps to monitor your own private energy consumption. The possible number of energy meter units to be set up is unlimited. The monitoring of electricity, gas and water consumption is supported.

The core of this app is the possibility to automatically recognise the energy consumption using state-of-the-art deep learning technology, thus eliminating the need for manual input (which is still possible via the app). This is particularly helpful if the metering point is not easily accessible and there are no "intelligent" metering point devices available.

The Deep Learning technique used is based on so-called supervised learning and relies on the largest possible amount of data. Since Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) is not served by the usual large data generating companies, no corresponding training dataset is available either and had to be created by myself. Please help to improve the quality of the software by making use of the optional "Bug Report" function in case of incorrect or imprecise image recognition. The image material provided is only used for training the AI model. Therefore, the app is (currently) free of charge.

The app does not collect any usage data and does not create any user profiles et al. The app can be used completely offline except for the backup and synchronisation option and the optional bug reporting function.

Usage:

When using the app for the first time, metering points must first be set up.

For data backup and/or usage on different devices by using the sync functionaliy in the settings section, it is required to configure your own FTP server. Please note that the defined metering units are not subject to backup. If meter readings are loaded via the synchronisation functions and no measuring points have been defined, these are obtained as dummies from the existing data and can be defined again as desired afterwards. Nota bene: a separate FTP access must be configured, otherwise this function is not available.

It is possible to monitor a unit other than the original metering unit consumption (e.g. meter in cubic meter (m³) >> monitoring in kilowatt hours (kwh)).

Entries can be changed or deleted subsequently by long press on the corresponding entry in the main screen.

The graphic display of the meter readings (specific consumption per day) allows horizontal and vertical zooming.
