This app is designed to provide easy access to senior adults who cannot frequent the physical spaces called “church” as often as they would love to.

MISSION STATEMENT

To provide opportunities for spiritual enrichment; provide social, emotional, and physical activities, make available educational information pertinent to senior adults and provide opportunities for ministry; and ensure no one is lost or forgotten.

VISION STATEMENT

We seek to be known throughout our community for our devotion to Jesus Christ and our commitment to share His love by providing comprehensive ministries that reach senior adults to enhance their lives, encourages them to spiritually grow in the Lord, challenges them to serve the Lord with all their heart, mind, soul, and strength, and, allows them every opportunity to share their gifts, wisdom and knowledge with others.

WHO WILL THIS MINISTRY SERVE?

“E.P.I.C.S.” will provide fellowship and ministry opportunities for men and women who are 60+. This ministry will focus on the social-emotional, spiritual and even educational needs of this valuable group of E.P.I.C.S individuals in our church family.

WHY IS THE SENIOR MINISTRY IMPORTANT?

Senior adults are some of the nicest and most gracious people you will meet at church and are crucial to the success of our congregation. Here’s why:

1. God commands it - Honor your father and mother (5th commandment).

2. Senior adults are the fastest growing segment of our population.

3. Senior adults are more likely to go out of their way to greet newcomers and make them feel welcome.

4. Senior adults tend to pray more than any other age group.

5. Many senior adults are in a better financial position to contribute to the church.

6. Senior adults make great mentors to young families or single young adults.
