Ant Simulator

It reproduces the matrix of ants using pheromone.

What an ant can know is only the pheromone in front of it and the position of the sun in the same way as reality.

There is also a wallpaper version!

It does not move that is different from the reality, such as the "through the shortest path suddenly when homing", "ants all gather in a straight line if you put the bait" or. Information that can ants know only thing around them in the same way as the real ants.

Change in the number of ants, installation of bait is allowed in this simulation. Please try the placement of the various means bait.

As with reality, propagation, pheromone has become so volatile.

As a pheromone of ants, I use the two footprints pheromones, pheromone of signpost in this simulation.

Footprint pheromone is a pheromone that ants are always out.

It works so as to avoid this footprint pheromone while you are looking for food. To look to the location where you duplicate that there is other by this is reduced. Also, use this pheromone even when you find the bait, to return to the nest. When you return this, to know the direction of the nest of roughly from the sun first, it will approach the nest. Since the footprint pheromone of ants who are in the nest are everywhere, and if close enough, you can discover the nest by following the pheromone from the nest.

Also, because if me can matrix, nest from food until it is way by footprint pheromone, more accurately than consult, you will be able to return to the nest in a straight line the sun.

Signpost pheromone is a pheromone that ants found the food issues.

Ants who are looking for food and then proceed toward darker of this pheromone. Ants near the bait will be able to know the direction of the bait by this.
