BeamShare - File Transfer

Finally move big files between Android and iPhone — and have them actually arrive.

Ever sent a movie to an iPhone and watched it fail at the last second with "couldn't be saved"? That failure is why BeamShare exists. Other apps hand your file to the Photos importer, which rejects formats it doesn't like — after the whole transfer already ran. BeamShare never depends on Photos: the file is saved completely, verified, and playable, every time. Saving to Photos stays available as an option for the formats Photos accepts.

Built for big files

Send a 6GB movie to a years-old iPhone — size doesn't matter

Every transfer is verified end to end; a file is either perfect or still in progress, never silently corrupted

Interruptions are normal, not fatal: lock the phone, drop the Wi-Fi, kill the app — the transfer resumes where it stopped, even days later

Works where other apps give up

Same Wi-Fi: devices find each other automatically

No router? Hotspot mode connects the phones directly — one QR scan

Stubborn networks: QR code or typing an address always works

Plays what Photos won't

Built-in player for MKV, AVI, FLAC and practically anything else

Received files appear in your gallery (Android) or the Files app (iOS)

Private by design

Direct device-to-device, encrypted, zero internet

No account, no cloud, no analytics, no ads — we couldn't see your files if we wanted to
