Clay & Fire - Pottery Tracker

Ever pulled a gorgeous, perfectly drippy mug out of the kiln, only to realize you have absolutely no idea which glazes you layered to make that happen? Or maybe you trusted a sticky note to remember which clay you used, only for it to magically disappear?

Stop trusting your memory. Your memory is full of clay dust (Please use a mask)

Meet Clay & Fire! your new pottery tracker. Whether you’re a hobbyist covered in mud or a studio owner managing multiple kilns, this app is here to keep your ceramics journey organized, documented, and safely backed up (even if you drop your phone in the slip).

✨ Why we think you’ll love it:

- Track Every Masterpiece (or Disaster): Log your pottery projects from wet clay to trimming, bisque firing, and the final glaze reveal. Snap photos at every stage so you can finally prove it looked great before the glaze crawled.

- Manage Your Resource Board: Keep a detailed stash of your resources. Log your clays, underglazes, techniques, tools and more! Never accidentally buy your fourth pint of "Oatmeal" glaze again.

- Save Resources from Social Media: Save contentfrom Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Youtube, X/Twitter and Facebook! Images are copied into the app, so even if they're taken down you will still have something to reference.

- The Ultimate Resource Library: Don't want to manually type out the names of all your supplies? We got you. Search our massive, built-in Resource Library of commercial glazes, clays, tools and more. Just find the ones you own and tap to add them to your personal stash.

- Don't Know What To Make?: We've all been there, luckly we got you! Check out the forms and techniques sections in the Resource Library! You will find new forms or techniques to try out!

- Magical Cross-Referencing: This is the game-changer. Not only can you look at a finished bowl and see exactly which three glazes you layered on it, but you can also go to your inventory, tap on that jar of "Blue Rutile," and instantly see a photo gallery of every single piece you’ve ever made with it! Stop guessing what a glaze actually looks like on dark clay, your own past projects will tell you.

- Community News: See announcements, news, and updates to perfect your craft.

- Follow Your Community Sudio: See what glazes and clays your studio has, what classes are coming up, and get notifications when pieces are out of the kiln!

- Google Drive Sync: Back up your entire pottery diary to Google Drive automatically. Your data is safe from wet, clay-covered hands.
