  Smoother typing in large documents — the editor does less work on every keystroke, especially in Arabic, Hebrew, Persian and Urdu.
  
  Better right-to-left detection: Syriac, Thaana and Arabic Extended-A now render in the correct direction.
  
  If you enjoy the app, you may see a quick rating prompt after you've been using it for a while. It never interrupts you twice, and you can always dismiss it.

  Editing long documents is smoother. The live preview was parsing your document twice on every update, which could freeze the app while you typed; that work is gone. Very large files, and files that are one long line, now open without stalling.
  
  Export is clearer too: before you export, the sheet now shows how many free exports you have left and states that free PDF and HTML exports carry a small "Made with Markdown Editor" footer. Word export has no footer.

  Fixed: no ad-consent screen in front of a new install. The app opens straight into the editor, and if your region requires a consent choice it is asked later — never before you have used the app. You can change or withdraw that choice any time in Settings > Ad Privacy Choices.

  Auto-save: your work saves a few seconds after you stop typing, and when you leave the editor. Turn it off in Settings.
  
  Split view now scrolls together — move either side and the other follows.
  
  COSMO AI can be switched off completely in Settings, so the editor stays just an editor.
  
  Shortening a document now works on the whole document, and if it cannot reach the length you asked for, your credits are returned.
  
  New users get more time before the first full-screen ad.
