Morphokinetics and Embryogenesis (MERGE) App is based on the research studies done by Dr. Yasuyuki Mio, who is the director at the Reproductive Centre Mio Fertility Clinic in Japan, Professor at Tottori University, Faculty of Medicine and the President at the Japanese Institution for Standardizing Assisted Reproductive Technology. Dr. Mio is a pioneer in time lapse technology and, through his research, discovered not only extremely valuable information related with the processes of fertilization and embryo development but also its correlation with clinical outcome.
