This application is meant to surface email notifications that are important to you, ignoring those that are not. Based on the K9 Mail open source email application, email providers ranging from Gmail to Outlook and everywhere in between are supported.

To determine which email messages and senders are most important to the user, two lists will be presented upon installation. The first will contain a list of senders the user frequently interacts with (replies, sends, etc.) that the user can choose from based on their importance. The second list will consist of senders the user frequently receives messages from (assumed more likely to be spammers) that the user may specify as unimportant. After compiling this feedback, Filter uses the IBM semantic analysis API as well as the Naive Bayes keyword algorithm to decided on what content is most important to the user.

This application is still in its early stages, so any feedback on the app's functionality will be appreciated.
