HINDI(हिन्दी) is a widely popular language which has its roots in Sanskrit.It is spoken by a vast majority of people not only in India but the whole world.

Are we speaking or writing pure HINDI ? For example the word रास्ता is not a Hindi word.It has its root in a foreign language, but conveniently it is assumed to be a Hindi word.

Hindi has suffered a lot of adulteration in history and the HINDI we speak today is mostly void of true HINDI words , instead it is full of words whose origin or root is not HINDI but foreign language words and not indian words or indic language words.

REQUEST TO USERS:

Please use Fix-tionary app to find out if the HINDI words you commonly use are true hindi or pure hindi or not.And once you know the true hindi words please start using them in your day to day conversation or writing.Remember unless you use the words in your day to day life your mind will not popup hindi words/pure hindi words automatically while speaking.

HOW DOES Fix-tionary HELP:

Fix-tionary app is an attempt to give Hindi another chance.The name itself is self explanatory i.e. a hindi dictionary (हिन्दी शब्दकोष) which attempts to Fix your Hindi vocabulary, hence Fix-tionary.

Using this app you can search for Hindi words and find out if the word is actually a true or pure Hindi word or not.

HOW TO USE Fix-tionary:

Using the app is very simple!

Just search for the Hindi word of your choice by typing using Hindi keyboard*.The app will display the correct/incorrect suggestion for the input you make.For example if you enter a true Hindi word the app will display the true word and the adulterated version with usage examples and vice versa.

The words and the usage examples will also be displayed in Hinglish for better reach.

*Note - Please search using Hindi keyboard as this app searches words entered using the same only.

SUGGEST US:

Finally since we are only human , there is scope for error. If there are wrong words popping up in search please send us the suggestion for correction and we will list them in the app after verification.

Also, if any words are not found please send those word suggestion as well using the ADD/RECTIFY WORD functionality.
