About Frengl
This app provides a glossary of translations for text pasted or typed into it
This app provides a list or glossary of translations for text pasted or typed into it. It is a simple tool to help build vocabulary for people studying French.
• The glossary can be displayed in the order in which the words appear in the text, or in alphabetical order.
• Redundant entries can be removed so that each word appears only once in the translation
• Entries and lists can be copied from this program into other programs, such as email or document programs to save results
• The dictionary used by this program contains over 52,000 entries and can conjugate verbs
• The dictionary is compiled from free dictionaries, including Wikitionary (https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Index:French) and supplemented with the FreeDict project (http://freedict.org/en/).
I developed this app as an aid for studying French and building vocabulary from French language news sites and websites. Many translation apps provide a full translation of text, making it difficult to see direct word-to-word translations and to expand your vocabulary.
Unlike other translation or dictionary apps, this app provides direct word-to-word translations at one time for a complete text. This makes studying easier, since the text only has to be entered into the app once.
Known issues/bugs: may have difficulty translating formatted text, notably hyperlinks.
I hope you find this app useful :)
"Nandemo kaizen" is Japanese for "make everything better". This app was generated as part of a larger effort and commitment to self-improvement and helping others improve as well.
