Geplakin

Geplakin is a digital aedes vector surveillance application developed to determine the potential vulnerability to Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever transmission in households using this application. In addition, this application also provides information about the vulnerability of the user's area to the spread of DHF. This application uses instruments to monitor the mosquito perception index and the suitability of mosquito habitats to replace direct observation of the presence of mosquitoes. Using the perception index and suitability of mosquito habitat is easier to do than direct observation of the presence of both adult mosquitoes, larvae or eggs. This application is also supported by health education information about eradicating mosquito nests that can be accessed by users. This application also displays changes in the vulnerability situation and the vulnerability of the area around the user in real time.
