Ginger

One day whilst sitting in an East London coffee shop and figuring out how we might find a really amazing designer and a digital marketing expert to help us with our business idea we counted 36 people - heads down, headphones in, and flat white's steaming. One of these lovely folks MUST do what we need we thought. So we asked them. Each and every one of them. We found three designers and a growth hacker! We also abandoned our idea and came up with this one instead. Ginger - a networking and social discovery tool for startups, entrepreneurs, solopreneurs, freelancers and the gig economy…

Features:

* Discovery - shows you Ginger users by proximity. You can browse or filter if you know specifically who you need or what skills you need to find. We love that the internet has made the world accessible but honestly, we still like doing business where we work and play so put yourself out there and be discovered for your next role, job, gig, startup or investment.

* Posts.. - when you set up a profile you choose the skills that represent you best. If someone uses the post feature and the skills match we will send you a push notification and let you decide if you want to reach out and connect. We will also tell you if one of your contacts on Ginger has those skills and you can pay it forward by referring them for the post too. Good karma all round! Yay!

* Chat - quickly connect with contacts to arrange meetings, demo's, pitches or introductions. We want Ginger to be useful in helping you get things done. Networking doesn’t have to be boring - we want to make it fun and productive.
