Giuliana Conti

Giuliana Conti was born in Carrara in 1952.

She attended classical high school and graduated in Modern Literature at the University of Pisa. In 1977 she took part in several competitions as a self-taught painter.

From the cities of Prato and Viareggio, for the national painting and graphics award, he received two important awards, ranking in 3rd place, out of 300 works exhibited, in the Naive category.

Putting her degree aside, she turned to the fashion field, working at Max Mara and then opening her own clothing store. Always focused on seeking new experiences, she worked for a long time in jewelry stores. In 2019, upon retiring, he started painting again, his true passion. Thus a particular production was born, made not only of colors but also of various applications such as trimmings and fabric scraps. In November 2021 he exhibited in Carrara at the Galleria Civico 1.

During 2022 his paintings are exhibited, in April, at the Municipal Library of Massa and, in May, again at Civico 1 in Carrara.

Finally in July he exhibited at Villa Cuturi in Marina di Massa, headquarters of the APT Massa.

In March 2023 he held a solo show at the lodges of the Municipality of Pisa. In August his works are exhibited in the prestigious Villa Schiff in Montignoso and then, again in Pisa, in the historic Royal Victoria Hotel.
