The Beetle breed of goats is known for its black, iron, or brown coloration, with

black goats being the most common. These goats have straight, short hair and

horns that are flat and can be straight or curved. They have a round head with

a 'Roman nose' and long, hanging ears. The average height and weight of these

goats vary depending on gender, with males being larger than females. They

calve for the first time at around 17 months of age and can produce milk for 5-

6 months, with an average yield of 177 kg. The udders of Beetle breed goats

are long, cup-shaped, and wide at the top, with a medium-sized iliac vein.

Various types of Beetle goats are found in western Punjab and Punjab province.
