Author : Isnan Ansory, Lc., M.Ag.

The current corona outbreak pandemic, forcing Muslims to carry out their various Ramadan worship at home. For people who have faith and fully understand the rules of the Shari'a of Allah, they are not worried about this condition. Because Islamic law is a teaching that is flexible, can adapt to every condition.

Moreover, Allah SWT Himself emphasized that there is nothing that prevents a believer from worshiping his best in every condition. Although with rules and procedures that may differ according to changes in causes and conditions. However, changes to these procedures remain within the corridors of sharia and are not contrived rules.

Allah swt says in the Qur'an:

And to Allah belongs the east and the west, so wherever you turn there is the face of Allah. Verily, Allah is Extensive (His mercy) and All-Knowing. (QS. Al-Baqarah: 115).

This verse was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad after the prohibition of the Prophet and his companions from worshiping freely in the Masjid al-Haram, causing the Prophet and his companions to migrate. Then Allah SWT gives consolation that this earth belongs to Allah, where you worship, that's where you will "meet" Allah SWT.

Imam ath-Thahir Ibn Asyur (d. 1393 H) said in his commentary, at-Tahrir wa at-Tanwir.

After sending verses that threaten the actions of polytheists and promises victory for believers (QS. Al-Baqarah: 114), Allah then continues with verses of consolation for believers when they are expelled from Mecca ... in which Allah explains that this earth everything belongs to Allah, and no one place has any privileges over the others except as a ware for taqarrub to Allah, remembering His favors and as a sign of His power... and the mention of a place at the beginning of the verse as a specialization that this earth actually belongs to Allah alone, not theirs, where they do not have the right to forbid the servants of Allah who are mukhlish to worship in it.

It's just that, so that a Muslim's worship is always in accordance with the provisions of the Shari'a, then a charity is required to be valid based on knowledge. Is knowledge that is visibly clear, has been explained in the Qur'an and Sunnah. Or is it knowledge based on the results of the scholars' ijtihad in grounding the Qur'an and Sunnah in every condition and situation.

This little book is hoped to provide a little contribution and direction for Muslims in filling the last 10 days of the month of Ramadan with great worship amidst the epidemic that is currently sweeping the world.
