Il Gattopardo

An inter-generational dialogue, framed as an immersive game, exploring the courtship rituals of past Italy vis-à-vis London’s current dating scenario.

Il Gattopardo will include a twenty minute experience where, through multi-sensory narratives, one will explore, physically, a change in our dating habits, a thereby, a shift between quantity and quality, relations and connections, community and followers, partners and networks. Finally, our audience will congregate in Il Gattopardo’s ballroom, and be invited to share their own narratives.

Il Gattopardo aims to inspire reflection on our current dating habits and an equilibrium between virtual and non-virtual first-time encounters and relations. Through an inter-generational commentary, it mixes memories from the past with present realities.

In this first event of a series, this time framed in England’s capital, Il Gattopardo will take place at the Italian Cultural Institute, in London. It is targeted towards 24-34 year olds using online dating, living in the City.
